The core principles from which Resonance Theory proceeds. These are not starting assumptions — they are the minimal commitments that survive rigorous first-principles examination and are confirmed at every scale of inquiry.
The Resonance Principle
Reality organizes itself through resonance — the alignment and mutual reinforcement of patterns across scales. Systems that resonate persist; those that do not, dissolve. Resonance is not a metaphor here but a structural principle with formal analogs across physics, cognition, and conceptual systems.
Events and Relations
Reality consists of events and the relations between them — not static objects. What appears solid is a pattern of recurring events sustained by relational coherence. This shifts the fundamental ontological unit from substance to process.
The Only Certainty is Uncertainty
Uncertainty is not a defect in our knowledge — it is the ground state of reality. From uncertainty, all potential emerges. This is not a limitation to be overcome but the generative condition of all novelty. Certainty is always local, provisional, and relational.
